We have an opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Commercial Credit Representative for the right person with a passion for helping people.  Using cutting edge omni-channel communication technology you’ll provide caring customer service to consumers at every touch point via text, email, and phone calls.  We care about how our team interacts with consumers, so you’ll learn how to make every conversation as positive and productive as possible— we’ll provide all of the necessary training for you to be successful!

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week and is onsite at our Springfield, OR office.

A day in the life of a PROFESSIONAL Commercial Credit Representative:

• Use state-of-the-art technology and contact commercial clients to collect outstanding debts.
• We will train you to take inbound and outbound calls with utmost professionalism and courtesy.
• Navigate cutting edge Accounts Receivable Management and Legal Management System (LMS) software.
• Work closely with our internal Legal department staff that includes Litigation, Small Claims and Attorney staff.
• Initiate contact with commercial clients to collect outstanding debts via phone, email, and written correspondence. Develop and maintain rapport with clients while firmly but professionally conveying the urgency of payment.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients in accordance with company policies and financial regulations. Evaluate clients’ financial situations and propose feasible repayment options.
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing client inquiries.
• General Computer skills is required with the ability to navigate multiple screens and type 45 words per minute. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of collection efforts.
• Learn basic skiptracing skills and settlement negotiation skills related to legal files.
• Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices
• Begin building a solid foundation of knowledge learning about the legal process of a lawsuit.
• Exercise good decision-making, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in commercial debt collection is a plus but not required.
