Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy applies to the website pcsdirectpay.com and professionalcredit.com, as well as Professional Credit Service’s mobile app. It also applies to your interactions with Ray Klein Inc., dba Professional Credit Service, For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Professional Credit Service, or Professional Credit, include pcsdirectpay.com/, professionalcredit.com/, the mobile app and the company, Ray Klein Inc., dba Professional Credit Service. By using the Professional Credit Service website(s), you consent to the data practices described in this statement. 

Collection of your Personal Information

Professional Credit Service may collect personally identifiable information including, but not limited to: your name, phone number, mailing and residential address(es), date of birth, social security number, creditor name, account balance, email address, and payment history. If you make a payment, Professional Credit Service may collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the transaction. Professional Credit Service may gather additional personal or non-personal information, as necessary, at any time in the future. 
 
Professional Credit Service may also collect information about your computer hardware and/or software when you visit our website(s). This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Professional Credit Service website(s). 
 
Professional Credit Service received your personal information from the following sources: from you; from our creditor-client that placed the account with our office for collection; and from vendors/service providers that help us confirm the accuracy of our information for purposes of being able to contact you. 

Use of your Personal Information 

Professional Credit Service collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services that you and/or our creditor-client(s) requested. 
This includes: 

  • Using your personal information to help verify your identity. For instance, when you contact our office we will ask you to provide your personal information, in order to verify that we have the correct individual and the correct account. We may ask you to provide some combination of your full name and your address, date of birth, social security number, or other identifying information. While you are free to decline to provide that information at any time, please note that we may not be able to effectively communicate with you if we are not able to verify your identity or the correct account. 
  • Using your personal information to process a payment on your account(s). 
  • Using your personal information to help us improve the services that we provide, through the use of auditing and analytics. This may, in some cases, include sharing information with a limited number of vendors/service providers in order to help us perform necessary business functions. However, in those cases, such vendors/service providers are subject to the same privacy and security requirements as Professional Credit Service and they have agreed to safeguard your information in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations. 
  • Using your personal information to send you communications and engage with you about your account(s). 
  • Using the information that you enter into our website(s) and/or mobile app for the purpose of contacting you or providing our services to you. 


Professional Credit Service does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists or email addresses to third parties. Neither does Professional Credit Service sell, rent, or lease the personal information of consumers for accounts it attempts to collect. As noted above, we may share your information with vendors/service providers, but those vendors/service providers are subject to the same privacy and security requirements as Professional Credit Service. Those vendors/service providers use your information to help us perform necessary business operations and to help us improve the services that we are able to provide to you and to our creditor-clients. 
 
Professional Credit Service may share data with trusted vendors/service providers to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Professional Credit Service and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. 
 
Professional Credit Service may keep track of the websites and pages you visit within the Professional Credit Service website(s), in order to determine which services are the most popular. The data is used to be able to determine what changes (if any) Professional Credit Service can make to improve the website(s). 
 
When sharing your information, Professional Credit Service only provides the minimum amount necessary for the relevant third party to perform its function or service. For instance, where Professional Credit Service is required to obtain and maintain a debt collection license in a particular jurisdiction, we may share your information with a regulator, based on that jurisdiction’s licensing laws. Additionally, we may share your name and address with a vendor to identify any potential changes for things like bankruptcy, active duty military status, new address, and/or new phone number. Furthermore, we may be required to provide your personal information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other request for law enforcement or some other legal authority. Moreover, in the event of a merger, sale, or reorganization, we may transfer all of your personal information to the relevant third-party. 

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude test messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 

Access to Personal Information 

You can help us make sure that your information is accurate by viewing your account information through our website(s) or our mobile app (for consumers). If the information is inaccurate, you can contact us to request that it be corrected by emailing us at consumer-helpdesk@professionalcredit.com or by writing to us at Consumer Help Desk, PO Box 70127, Springfield, OR 97475. You can also request that we delete your information, so long as we are not required to retain it for necessary business functions or legal reasons. Please note that if the information is necessary to perform a business function or to maintain compliance with the law (i.e. retention requirements of state or federal regulatory agencies) then we must retain the information. However, we will safeguard your information to the best of our ability. 

Use of Cookies and Pixel Tags 

Professional Credit Service’s website(s) may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Security of your Personal Information 

Professional Credit Service secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. To protect your information, Professional Credit Service implements other security measures, such as information security policies and procedures; physical, administrative, and technical safeguards; employee training programs; and the use of encryption. 

Third Party and Unaffiliated Websites 

Professional Credit Service may provide you with links to third party websites when you access our website(s). Please note Professional Credit Service does not control the content of those third party websites and we are not responsible for the practices utilized by the entities that own and operate those websites. Those third parties may have their own terms of use and/or privacy policies that you can review. 

Children Under 13 

Professional Credit Service does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use our website(s).

The state Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act require that, except under unusual circumstances, collectors may not contact you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. They may not harass you by using threats of violence or arrest or by using obscene language. Collectors may not use false or misleading statements or call you at work if they know or have reason to know that you may not receive personal calls at work. For the most part, collectors may not tell another person, other than your attorney or spouse, about your debt. Collectors may contact another person to confirm your location or enforce a judgment. As required by law, you are hereby notified that a negative credit report reflecting on your credit record may be submitted to a credit reporting agency if you fail to fulfill the terms of your credit obligations. 
 
Pursuant to CA Civil Code Section 1788.14.5, you may request records showing the following: 

  1. that Professional Credit Service has the right to seek collection of the debt; 
  1. the debt balance, including an explanation of any interest charges and additional fees; 
  1. the date the debt became delinquent or the date of the last payment; 
  1. the name of the creditor and the account number associated with the debt; 
  1. the name and last known address of the debtor as it appeared in the creditor’s records prior to assignment of the debt; and 
  1. the names of all persons or entities other than the debt collector to which the debt has been assigned, if applicable. You may also request from us a copy of the contract or other document evidencing your agreement to the debt.

Colorado Residents 

A consumer has the right to request in writing that a debt collector or collection agency cease further communication with the consumer. A written request to cease communication will not prohibit the debt collector or collection agency from taking any action authorized by law to collect the debt.

You have the right to make a written or oral request that telephone calls regarding your debt not be made to you at your place of employment. Any such oral request will be valid for only ten days unless you provide written confirmation of the request postmarked or delivered within seven days of such request. You may terminate this request by writing to the debt collector.

Notice to Nevada Consumers owing medical debt: If you pay or agree to pay the debt or any portion of the debt, the payment or agreement to pay may be construed as acknowledgment by you that you owe the debt. New York Residents 

Debt collectors, in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq., are prohibited from engaging in abusive, deceptive and unfair debt collection efforts, including but not limited to: 

  • the use or threat of violence; 
  • the use of obscene or profane language; and 
  • repeated phone calls made with the intent to annoy, abuse, or harass.
